Like Homeopathic medicine, Bach Flowers remedies capture the essence of the specific flower suspended in water, with all the original substance removed. Though they are preserved with Brandy, when diluted they are tasteless and odorless. They are safe for all, including pregnant women, infants, children, even pets. Bach Flower essences were created and developed by Dr. Edward Bach, a surgeon and bacteriologist. As a surgeon he noted patients that had a more optimistic outlook had a stronger and faster recovery. He sought to create a system to balance those with low frequency, brought about by negative thoughts and events.
